    Light winter

    When the sun returns in spring and the days become longer than the nights, a wonderful winter world of snow, ice and light opens up. Many of the fjords are frozen and the deep snowy landscape is ideal for long tours into the untouched wilderness. It is an ideal time to experience the winter, to marvel at huge glaciers, pack ice and icebergs and to experience Spitsbergen on the tracks of seal, reindeer and polar bear.
