You've already booked your ship expedition with another provider, but would like to spend a few extra days in Longyearbyen? With a pre- or post-program, you get the very best out of your trip — and we're happy to put it together entirely according to your wishes. Whether a few relaxed hours before embarkation or several days to round things off: this turns your expedition into a complete, well-rounded experience.
In summer, a wide range of possibilities is open to you. We often begin right at the airport with a convenient transfer and a city tour through Longyearbyen, introducing you to the northernmost town in the world and to life on the edge of the Arctic. From there, the program ranges from hikes through the Arctic tundra, to further activities in and around Longyearbyen, to multi-day tours deeper into the wilderness. Together we tailor everything precisely to the time you have available before or after your voyage.
As part of the package, we're also happy to arrange further tours on request — such as kayak trips, a dog-sledding tour on wheels, a visit to the historic mines, or boat excursions to one of the other settlements, for example Isfjord Radio. This way, your stay can be shaped in a thoroughly individual and varied manner. And if you wish, we'll bring you straight to your ship for embarkation as part of the program at the end.
In this way, you combine your expedition with additional, very personal experiences on land and get to know the northernmost region in the world even more intimately — before or after you head out onto the water.
Please note that we don't arrange flights — you book your travel to and from Longyearbyen yourself. We'll then gladly take care of everything else on-site for you.
A private tour means full flexibility — in route, breaks, photo stops, and pace. Get in touch — we'd be happy to put together a personalized offer for you.
