1. June - 15. September
The summer in the Arctic is full of life. It seems as if the entire animal kingdom is busy making the best out of this short time full of light and warmth. Millions of migratory birds, just like whales and seals, find a well-laid table in the sea and come to Svalbard in the summer months to raise their young. Foxes and their cubs hunt for food underneath the summing bird cliffs and reindeer feed off the colourful carpet of grasses, flowers and mosses, nurtured by the guano of the millions of birds. Vibrant life under the never setting sun.
