The jewel of the Arctic - Ski expedition north of the Isfjorden

    March - May

The sun always shines on the other side of the fjord, say the inhabitants of Longyearbyen when they look out over the fjord. Even if this is not entirely true, the area north of Isfjorden, the large fjord system in the centre of Svalbard, has an incredible variety of scenery to offer. From glacier fronts that plunge into the sea, often with sea ice and seals in front of them in winter, and the pointed mountains of Trollheimen towering behind them.

In this area - off the beaten track - we discover the wilderness and remoteness of Svalbard together. From the sea ice, our route leads up the glaciers until we reach small plateaus between the nunataks, which offer wonderful route options for a ski tour.

The special thing about this tour is the individual guidance: with a maximum of 8 guests and two guides, we are travelling in a small group, which saves us long waiting times on the way and gives us a lot of flexibility in the field.
