Photo-Tour with Natural High

Welcome to Svalbard! Upon arrival at the airport, your guide will greet and accompany you to your accommodation in the heart of Longyearbyen. There will be a proper introduction of the plans for the week and we will take the opportunity to prepare ourselfs and our gear. After everything is packed and ready to go - we will enjoy a lovely dinner together in Longyearbyen.

Overnight stay in Longyearbyen.

After a good breakfast it's time to set off. With all the luggage for a multi-day tour we head out.

Over wide valleys, mountain passes and glaciers we will drive to the remote north of Spitsbergen. We will be on the road the whole day and experience the breathtaking nature. In the evening we will set up camp at a beautiful spot. Here we will stay 5 nights in the nature. In order for you to fully enjoy this experience, we will provide all the necessary equipment such as warm sleeping bags, a good insulating sleeping pad, winter tents and also a communal tent for cooking, eating, warming up and sitting comfortably together. If conditions allow, we also use the snow to dig cozy benches and maybe even a snow cave. We will also have a generator in the common tent to charge our batteries every evening.

We cook dinner together on the gasoline burner and divide the night watch.

All guests participate in the night watch in a rotating shift system.

During the next couple of days we explore the northwest and east coast of Svalbard. These regions are rarely visited. Weather and snow conditions permitting, we will find untouched nature far beyond our camp. We will adapt our days according to weather and light conditions, go out very early in the morning or stay out late into the night. Always scouting for various wildlife in a golden hour, that lasts the whole night.

On the way back to Longyearbyen, we will take our time to once more explore the glaciers in the Billefjord and Tempelfjord, depending on the weather and ice situation, or make a detour to the east coast of Spitsbergen.

Return to Longyearbyen in the early evening.

Final Dinner and overnight in Longyearbyen.

Farewell day. After an extensive breakfast, there will be some free time (depending on your flight schedule) in town. Then it is time to say goodbye. A private airport transfer will take you to your scheduled flight and on your way back home.
