Our tours can be either day or half-day tours and take us to Sarkofagen, Platå or Fuglefjella, for example. We adapt our tours to your wishes and the prevailing weather conditions on a daily basis.
A beautiful tour with the best view over the Isfjorden - the largest fjord of Svalbard.
Join us on a hiking tour full of contrasts up the 450 metre high plateau mountain. Up here you can quickly feel very far away from everything else and enjoy the view over the whole Isfjord, the Advent valley and the highest mountain in the vicinity of Longyearbyen.
This is the home of the reindeer, arctic fox and crabeater. Passing Hotelneset and Vestpynten, we drive by car to Bear Valley, which is about 6 kilometres west of Longyearbyen. From there we start our hike by crossing the meltwater river before climbing up to the high plateau of the bird rock - the Fuglefjella.
Most of the time we are accompanied here by flocks of crab divers - a special Arctic bird species. Once on the plateau and at the edge of the rock, a fantastic view over the whole Isfjord awaits us.
Directly above Longyearbyen, between two glaciers, lies our local mountain Sarkofagen - which owes its name to its characteristic appearance. Our hike starts in Nybyen outside the town and leads us over the moraine of the Lars or Longyear glacier up to the 514 metre high mountain. From here we have a breathtaking view of the valley where Longyearbyen is located, as well as the peaks on the other side of Adventdalen.
This hike also takes us past prehistoric plant fossils in the summer and can therefore be perfectly combined with our Fossil Tour.

For groups we are happy to offer private tours, which can be freely designed in terms of content. Together we can put together a program exactly according to your wishes and ideas. A private tour is somewhat more expensive, but offers many advantages and privileges both in the program design, as well as in the implementation of the trip here on Svalbard.
