Our two co-living houses in Longyearbyen offer you the choice between a central location and a quiet retreat with a scenic view. In the town center, you’ll live right in the heart of it all, with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a simple kitchen, and a co-working space in the same building – ideal for remote workers. About one kilometer away, the second house offers beautiful views over the valley, three bedrooms, a spacious kitchen, and a cozy living room. The hosts live upstairs and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We’re happy to take accommodation preferences into account, but we can’t guarantee placement – both houses offer comfort, connection, and an authentic Arctic experience.

Sofia, born and raised in Mexico, is the heart of our co-living community. Having lived in co-living spaces all around the world, she brings a deep understanding of what it takes to create a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere. As your main point of contact, she's always there to help – whether you need local tips, have a practical question, or just want someone to chat with. Beyond that, she regularly organizes community activities like cooking nights, bonfires by the beach, or even helps in organizing hikes, and even dog sledding adventures. With Sofia around, it's easy to feel at home and connect with others in the Arctic.
On the ground floor of the Polar Bear Lodge, you’ll find our cozy co-working space – the perfect spot to get things done while surrounded by Arctic charm. Several desks spread across two bright rooms offer plenty of space for focused work or casual exchange. Adjustable standing desks ensure comfortable, ergonomic working conditions, and a comfy lounge corner with coffee invites you to take inspiring breaks.
If needed, monitors and keyboards can be rented for a small additional fee – making sure you have everything you need for a productive day in the Far North.
Sofia, our dedicated host, is the heart of our co-living community.
