East Coast

The east coast of Spitsbergen can be reached by snowmobile in winter when snow conditions are good and by boat in summer. The east of Spitsbergen is characterized by flat mountains and is known for its unrestricted vastness. Far away from any civilization you can experience the rugged nature of Spitsbergen. Surrounded by impressive glaciers and pack ice there is a possibility to meet the king of the Arctic - the polar bear.
