Polar Bear at the east coast of Svalbard

    East coast by snowmobile

    March - May

A highlight in winter! On the east coast of the island of Spitsbergen, you have a good chance to meet no one. Ice, glaciers, pack ice and frozen fjords as far as the eye can see. We might see a few seals and with luck the king of the Arctic himself, the polar bear. This is his territory and habitat.

You've been dreaming of seeing a polar bear for a long time? On this tour, the chances are better than anywhere else: the approx. 9-hour snowmobile safari takes you to the area where polar bears call home. Other highlights are beautiful glacier fronts and the incredible view over fjord landscape, the Barents Island and the island Edgeøya.
