What to expect on an ATV tour on Svalbard

During the ATV tour you will be rewarded with impressive views of the majestic Isfjord and the surrounding mountain peaks. Keep your camera ready to capture these unique moments. With a little luck, you may also spot fascinating wildlife such as arctic foxes and a variety of bird species.

At the same time, you will pass interesting sights, such as Longyearbyen's former airport, where planes used to land on the ice in winter, or the coal mine, which was still in operation until recently. These impressions are complemented by exciting stories about life in the northernmost city in the world.

Suitable equipment

With a suit, helmet, boots and gloves, you are ideally equipped for the sometimes somewhat harsher temperatures of Svalbard and can enjoy your ATV adventure warm and cosy.

Immerse yourself in the fascinating landscape of Svalbard and feel the thrill of riding the ATVs. Experienced guides accompany you during the approx. three-hour tour and ensure that you can enjoy the beauty of the Arctic nature to the full.

This tour is conducted by one of our local partner companies in English. In order to protect the unique landscape of Svalbard, it is not allowed to leave the road with the ATVs.

A private tour is somewhat more expensive, but offers many advantages and privileges both in the program design, as well as in the implementation of the trip here on Svalbard.
