Welcome to an exciting summer week on Svalbard – an unforgettable adventure in the heart of the Arctic! During this active week, you will experience the fascinating beauty and wild landscapes of one of the northernmost inhabited regions in the world.
Your journey begins in Longyearbyen, the vibrant capital of Svalbard. Despite its remote location, this charming town offers all the amenities of a modern small town and serves as the perfect starting point for our adventures.
Our activities are diverse and offer something for everyone. You will explore the breathtaking Arctic tundra on foot, discover the spectacular coastline by kayak, and visit majestic glaciers and historical sites by boat. Each day brings a new opportunity to experience Svalbard’s pristine nature up close and admire its unique flora and fauna.
In summer, Svalbard reveals its mild side. Temperatures usually range between 3 and 7 degrees Celsius, sometimes even reaching up to 15°C, which is surprisingly pleasant for the Arctic. The midnight sun ensures it remains bright around the clock, giving us endless opportunities for our adventures. These extraordinary lighting conditions lend a special, almost magical glow to the landscape.
This active summer week on Svalbard promises not only movement and adventure but also a deep connection to nature and an insight into the impressive Arctic culture. Pack your sense of adventure and get ready for a week full of unforgettable experiences in one of the wildest and most beautiful regions on Earth.
