Welcome to Svalbard! Upon arrival at the airport, your guide will greet and accompany you to your accommodation in the heart of Longyearbyen. There will be a proper introduction of the plans for the week and we will take the opportunity to prepare ourselfs and our gear. After everything is packed and ready to go - we will enjoy a lovely dinner together in Longyearbyen.

In the morning we head out after breakfast. With light luggage for a multi-day tour, we set off - north towards Pyramiden. On the way we take our time to explore seldom traveled side valleys, climb mountains and enjoy the view and look out for wildlife. Depending on the sea ice conditions, we can take a shortcut via Tempelfjorden.

Arrival in the Russian ghost town is planned for early evening. In the town where once over 1000 people lived, today 10 Russians and Ukrainians are currently residing and running a small hotel.

The hotel Tulipan in Pyramiden will be our base for the upcoming days. From there we will start our daily excursions far beyond Pyramiden to explore the area in the north of Isfjorden.

After a rich breakfast it's time to head out again. We explore the northwest of Pyramiden. The region around Dickson Fjord is rarely visited. Weather and snow conditions permitting, we will find untouched nature far beyond Pyramiden. We will adapt our days according to weather and light conditions, go out very early in the morning or stay out late into the night. Always scouting for various wildlife in a golden hour, that lasts the whole night.

Here we can also recharge our cameras and secure material.

On the way back to Longyearbyen we take our time and explore the glaciers in the Billefjord and Tempelfjord. We hope to find our path crosses more wildlife and beautiful light. After our arrival back in Longyearbyen it is time to gear up. We have to refuel our snowmobiles and the reserves, recharge our gears batteries and repack for the upcoming camping adventure.

We will enjoy the evening and the overnight in Longyearbyen.

After a good breakfast it's time to head out. Our sleds are packed and everything is ready to set off... over wide valleys, mountain passes and glaciers we reach the east coast. We spend a whole day on the wild and cold side of Svalbard. If the ice situation allows it, we go far out on the frozen ocean and enjoy the rough nature. Seals, maybe polar bears, the first returning birds and otherwise far and wide no sign of human civilization. In the evening hours we look for a nice place where we will set up our camp, which we will call home for the upcoming 2 days.

We set up the tents, cook dinner on the gasoline burner and divide the night watch. All guests take part in the nightly polar bear watch.

After we strike camp, we then head west. From the east coast back to Longyearbyen you pass through different geological ages. The change of the landscape passing by is fantastic. In the early evening we are back in Longyearbyen and nothing stands in the way of a comfortable evening after having spent the nights in a tent.

Farewell day. After an extensive breakfast, there will be some free time (depending on your flight schedule) in town. Then it is time to say goodbye. A private airport transfer will take you to your scheduled flight and on your way back home.
