To drive an ATV on Svalbard, you must be at least 18 years old and have a Class B driving licence. Before setting off, you will also receive a short introduction from the trained guides so that driving the ATV runs smoothly and safely.
No, for a quad tour you will be equipped with a suit, gloves, boots and a helmet. This is necessary because even in summer there can be lower temperatures on Svalbard. It is also advisable to pack a few woollens in case you get a bit too cold despite the suit.
