    Are you an adventurer looking for a unique experience that combines breathtaking scenery, wildlife encounters and physical challenges? Then a fjord tour by kayak is the right choice for you.

    What to expect on a fjord tour by kayak

    After being picked up from your accommodation, you and the other guests will be taken to a warm, cosy boathouse. There you will be instructed by your guide on how to handle the kayaks and will be equipped with suitable kayak clothing such as a dry suit and a life jacket. It is time to get into the kayak and out onto the water. Two people in a kayak will paddle through one of Svalbard's beautiful fjords. You will experience the landscape and wildlife in a particularly natural way.

    During the tour you will receive further support from your guide - your safety is the highest priority.

    It is possible to do a kayak tour as a half-day, day or multi-day tour. We will be happy to advise you on the right tour for you.

    The tour is offered in English by one of our local partner companies.

    Requirement

    No special previous knowledge is needed but a medium level of fitness is required to participate in this tour.

    Private tour:

    For groups we are happy to offer private tours, which can be freely designed in terms of content. Together we can put together a program exactly according to your wishes and ideas. A private tour is somewhat more expensive, but offers many advantages and privileges both in the program design, as well as in the implementation of the trip here on Svalbard.

    Information

    • Program events are always weather dependent and the implementation of scheduled activities may be modified or cancelled due to safety concerns.
    • The tour is conducted by an English-speaking guide.
    • You must be able to swim to join the tour.

    • Max. Drysuit size: XXL
    • If the minimum number of participants is not reached one month before the start of the tour, we cannot carry out the tour according to the program and price. In this case we will discuss the details and possibilities with you personally.
